1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "User") and the Translation Input Method development team (hereinafter referred to as "we") regarding the use of the Software and related services.

• These Terms apply to all versions and features of the Software
• Installing or using the Software indicates acceptance of these Terms
• If representing an organization, you must have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization

2. License Grant

2.1 Use License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to:

• Install and use the Software on your owned devices
• Use all features and services provided by the Software
• Create and manage your personal account
• Use the Software in accordance with these Terms

2.2 License Restrictions

Unless explicitly permitted by law or with our written consent, you may not:

• ❌ Modify, adapt, translate the Software or create derivative works
• ❌ Sell, rent, lease, distribute, or transfer the Software

• ❌ Bypass or crack the Software's technical protection measures

3. Account Registration and Management

3.1 Account Registration

Using certain features requires account registration. When registering, you must:

• Provide truthful, accurate, and complete registration information
• Promptly update your account information
• Properly safeguard your account and password
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

• You must keep your account and password confidential
• Notify us immediately if you discover account compromise
• You are responsible for all actions under your account
• We are not liable for losses due to poor safeguarding

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time. After deletion, your account information and cloud data will be permanently removed. Please backup important data before deletion.

4. Usage Guidelines

4.1 Lawful Use

You agree that when using the Software:

• ✅ Respect others' intellectual property and privacy rights
• ✅ Use the Software only for lawful purposes
• ✅ Comply with these Terms and our usage policies

You may not use the Software to:

• Post or transmit illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory content
• Infringe on others' intellectual property, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights
• Upload or spread viruses, malicious code, or other harmful files
• Interfere with or disrupt normal operation of the Software or servers
• Bypass, crack, or attack the Software's security measures
• Collect or store other users' personal information
• Use automated tools or scripts to access the Software
• Engage in fraud, scams, or other dishonest behavior
• Conduct any activities violating laws and regulations

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Software Ownership

Intellectual property rights to the Software and all its components belong to us or relevant rights holders, including but not limited to:

• Software code, algorithms, technical architecture
• Software interface, icons, images, audio
• Software documentation, instructions, tutorials
• Trademarks, trade names, domain names
• Translation engines and dictionaries (proprietary portions)

5.2 User Content

You own your custom dictionaries and settings. By using the Software, you grant us:

• The right to store and backup your content to provide services
• The right to use anonymized content to improve translation quality (with your authorization)

5.3 Feedback and Suggestions

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us may be freely used without any payment obligation.

6. Free vs Paid Versions

6.1 Free Version

The Software offers a free version with basic translation features. The free version may include:

• Feature limitations (e.g., translation count, language quantity)
• Advertisement display
• Update delays

6.2 Paid Version

The paid version provides enhanced features. Regarding paid services:

• All pricing and features are subject to purchase page descriptions
• Payment takes effect immediately, no refunds without valid reason
• Subscriptions auto-renew, can be cancelled anytime
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing (existing users unaffected)

6.3 Trials and Promotions

We may offer free trials or promotional activities. Trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions (unless cancelled). Promotional terms are subject to activity page descriptions.

7. Service Changes and Interruptions

7.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time, including but not limited to:

• Adding, modifying, or removing features
• Adjusting service scope and content
• Changing service technical specifications
• Terminating service provision

7.2 Service Interruptions

Services may be interrupted or unavailable due to:

• System maintenance and upgrades
• Network or equipment failures
• Force majeure events
• Third-party service interruptions

We will make reasonable efforts to notify planned maintenance in advance, but are not liable for service interruptions.

8. Disclaimer

8.1 Usage Risk

You understand and agree that:

• You assume all risks associated with using the Software
• Translation results are for reference only and should not be sole basis for legal, medical, or professional decisions
• You should verify accuracy of translation results
• You are responsible for consequences arising from Software use

8.2 No Guarantees

We explicitly do not guarantee:

• The Software meets all your requirements
• Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Accuracy or reliability of translation results
• Software defects will be promptly corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, etc.
• Our total liability does not exceed fees you paid in the past 12 months
• For free users, liability is limited to $10 USD

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities; in such cases, the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your infringement of others' rights
• Your manner of using the Software
• Content you provide

11. Data Backup

While we take measures to protect your data, you should:

• Regularly backup important data (custom dictionaries, etc.)
• Not rely on the Software as sole data storage
• Export your data before uninstalling or deleting account

We are not liable for data loss.

12. Terms Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When modifying:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at top of page
• Major changes will be communicated via in-app notifications, email, etc.
• Continued use of Software indicates acceptance of new Terms
• If you disagree with new Terms, stop using and delete account

We recommend reviewing these Terms regularly to stay informed of latest changes.

13. Termination

13.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using the Software and delete your account at any time.

13.2 Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account in the following cases:

• You violate these Terms or our policies
• Your actions endanger other users or system security
• As required by laws and regulations
• Prolonged account inactivity (typically over 1 year)

13.3 Effects of Termination

After account termination:

• You will no longer be able to use online features
• Your cloud data will be deleted
• Local data remains on your device
• Paid fees are non-refundable (unless otherwise required by law)

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of law provisions).

14.2 Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, we encourage resolution through friendly negotiation first. If negotiation fails:

• You agree to submit disputes to courts with jurisdiction where we are located
• Or opt for arbitration (subject to mutual agreement)

15. Other Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us, superseding all prior oral or written agreements.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted to maximum extent to reflect original intent, and remaining provisions remain valid.

15.3 No Waiver

Our failure to exercise or delay in exercising any right does not constitute waiver of that right.

15.4 Language Versions

These Terms may be available in multiple languages. In case of conflict, the Chinese version prevails.
